Primary 7 had a fabulous day yesterday dressed in their 1940’s clothing, celebrating VE day at the end of their WW2 topic. They made union jack bunting, paper chains and flags; learned how to jive and do “The Lambeth Walk”; had a wartime sing-along; listened to Churchill’s VE day speech and ate some delicious jam sandwiches and fruit cake. Phew!
Thank you so much to all the parents who helped the children to make their costumes – they looked fabulous.
