At the end of last term, Primary 7 children had the opportunity to take part in a fantastic transition event at Boroughmuir High School. They took part in three workshops where they learned about Scottish seafood.
- They watched a cookery demonstration and learned how to make mackerel pate and a lovely crusted haddock. The best part was the tasting obviously!
- They handled Scottish seafood and learned how different species were identified and caught.
- They learned how seafood could be preserved, and tasted those foods highest in Omega 3.
This was a very informative and enjoyable event… not to mention delicious!
