Today we say goodbye to ParentMail and welcome ParentPay to South Morningside!
This is primarily a financial tool, which will enable parents to pay for school outings, lunches etc. via an online facility. It will also be used to communicate messages to parents, however during the first few weeks we will revert to using hard copies (‘pupil post’) until we are confident all is working smoothly.
The following message from the head teacher has been shared with all school families today:
Today each child will come home with a letter to activate your new ParentPay account. Please follow the instructions in the letter to set up your account. As of today we will no longer be using Parentmail. In order to receive email communications from the school, and to order and pay for school lunches/trips you must activate your ParentPay account as soon as possible.
The school lunch menus from 18th April (when children return after the Easter break) until the end of June we anticipate will be live on ParentPay later today. You should order online if you wish to order school lunches for your child for after the Easter break. You can choose to order for the full term or weekly. If you choose to order weekly, school lunches must be ordered by midnight on the Wednesday so that meal options for the following week can be booked in advance. For the first week back after the Easter holidays school lunches must be ordered by midnight on Wednesday 29th March.
