The P7 art group meet every Friday morning. Over the last couple of weeks, they created a piece of artwork inspired by David Attenborough’s campaign to raise awareness around plastic pollution. P7 discovered that more than eight million tonnes of plastic reach the sea every year. To show how damaging this is to sea life, the group created an ocean scene with plastic incorporated into the bodies of sea animals! The results were very effective as you can see. Their work is displayed in the library to raise awareness across the school.
