. . . to need glue sticks! With all the sticking in of homework, spelling words, story plans and now some Christmas craft, we are very low on glue sticks. Please could you make sure that your child has one in their pencil case. If you have any spare, extras are always appreciated.
The holidays are a good chance to check that your child has everything they might need in their pencil cases – a writing pencil, rubber, pencil sharpener, coloured pencils and a highlighter.
We are still missing some of the Social Studies and PE reporting forms that came home to be read and commented on, as well as the associated work. P3B also had some RME reporting and work from their Sukkot theme and P3C had some drama reporting too. Please make sure that these forms are completed and returned as soon as possible and definitely by the end of this week.
This is the last week for visiting the library. Children will return their books but won’t borrow new ones till next term. Please make sure that your child brings any library books that they have borrowed in to school this week.
There is no homework this week or next. Instead, play a game, read a book, bake something, settle down in front of a seasonal movie, write cards, wrap presents – at this time of year, the list is endless!
Next Tuesday (19th December) is the whole-school assembly at Morningside Church in the morning, followed by the P3 Christmas party in the afternoon. See separate notes from class teachers re any special things happening in class.
