P3 is expecting a visit from a paramedic this week, to tell us about what they do and how they help people. This is our second-last visit from/to the emergency services. We are hoping to have a visit from the mountain rescue service before the Easter break.
Speaking of emergency services, P3C are busy gearing up for their assembly on that very subject this coming Friday (16th March). Parents/Carers of P3C are invited along to watch. Assembly is in the main hall at 9.20am – please arrive a wee bit early so that you can be seated in time for the performance. If parents/carers can’t make it, grandparents, aunties/uncles or family friends are welcome to come in their place.
Here is this week’s homework:
- Reading – See reading/homework diary/jotter.
- Reading Challenge – Keep noting any books read at home.
- Spelling – Please learn this week’s spelling pattern and complete a spelling activity – make sure you have your spelling jotter at school on Friday!
- Maths – We continue to work on subtraction, especially word problems. Please help your child to do the word problems on the ‘Magical Maths’ sheet. These can be done orally or written down.
And this week’s child-friendly plan:
