Please could you check with your child whether they have the following essential items in their pencil cases at school: writing pencils, a rubber, a pencil sharpener & a glue stick. If they have lost or used up any of these things, please could you replace them.
Over the next two weeks, P3 will be exploring how people all round the world celebrate Easter. We will be looking at how signs of Spring and key points from the Easter story have inspired traditions in different countries. If you celebrate Easter with any traditions, you could chat about them at home.
In Maths, we will be spending the last couple of weeks of term working on money. We will be calculating and making different amounts and working out change. It would be great for the children to have real-life opportunities to use money so, if you are heading to the shops, see if they can work out the total payment needed for two or three items, which coins/notes would be needed to pay and how much change they would need back.
As next week is the last week of term, there will be reading homework but no spelling. Here is this week’s homework:

- Spelling – Please learn this week’s spelling pattern and complete a spelling activity – make sure you have your spelling jotter at school on Friday!
